Amy Huffstetler Servian, BCA
Studio Owner, Teacher, and Artistic Director
Amy has a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a North Carolina teacher license to teach dance in NC public schools for grades K-12. She is currently the dance teacher at Whitewater Academy in Charlotte, NC.
Ms. Amy started her dance training at age three and has been dancing ever since. She has studied tap, jazz, and ballet in Gaston County, performing at events such as "The Nutcracker", opening ceremonies for the former "World 600" race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and several community theatre musical productions. While at UNCC, she performed with the UNCC Dance Ensemble and was awarded Outstanding Senior of the Dance Department.
Amy has taught in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system, the Gaston County School system, Harris YMCA in Charlotte, Stowe YMCA in Belmont and has experience teaching award-wining competitive dance teams. She has also taught dance to the Ashbrook and Maiden marching band color guard squads.
July 2020 marks the beginning of the 27th year anniversary of Main Street Dance Works, founded by Amy Servian.

Kaitlyn Pacitto

Kaitlyn Pacitto is a teacher at Main Street Dance Works. She began dancing at age 3 and then competitively at age 9. She has studied a variety of dance styles with her main focus on tap and clogging. In total, she has about 18 years of dance experience. Kaitlyn enjoys teaching new skills in class and pushing the dancers to get outside of their comfort zones and try things.

Kayla is entering her third year as a teacher at Main Street Dance Works.
She has 16 years of dance experience, 11 of those with Main Street Dance Works.
Her favorite type of dance is ballet. Her favorite dance memory is when she performed her first solo. That was also the first time she performed on pointe!

Kimberly Shepker

Kimberly Shepker is a teacher at Main Street Dance Works. She began dancing at the age of 4 taking classes at Main Street Dance Works. At the age of 10, she switched to musical theatre which allowed her to open up to a different type of dance style. Now she dances and participates in shows which has improved her dancing over the years. Kimberly is entering her third year of teaching at Main Street Dance Works. She thinks dance is a fun way to express yourself on stage in front of an audience. She also hopes that you will sign up to take dance classes here because it's a blast!

She has pursued her passion for musical theatre at Northwest School of the Arts for the past 3 years. Jenna Servian is a theatre instructor at Main Street Dance Works. She is currently a rising senior at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro pursuing her BFA in Theatre. Much of her prior training came from MSDW, including 16 years of dance and 9 years of theater. She also spent 3 years at Northwest School of the Arts, double majoring in musical theatre and apparel.

George is married to Amy. He pitches in to help wherever help is needed at the studio. He also has a gift for the dramatic and is an enthusiastic arts advocate. He does a great job of pulling together stage blocking; usually for our older kids' plays. George has a BA from UNC Charlotte and earned teacher certification in secondary math. He currently works as a data analyst for Bank of America. He is learning to play guitar and piano.
